Omar currently serves as the Lead IT Officer at Texas Regional Bank. He has been at Texas Regional Bank since 2015. Prior to that he worked as the IT manager at Texas National Bank and was the Senior Manager IT/IS for South Texas Health Care. Omar received his BBA in Finance from UTPA and then an MBA in Accounting from UTPA. He has earned the following credentials – Certified Banking Ethical Hacker (CBEH); Certified Banking Security Manager (CBSM); Certified Banking Cybersecurity Manager (CBCM); and Certified Banking Technology Professional (CBTP)
