Simon C. Cardenas is the Community Liaison for DHR Health and helps to establish and maintain community relations throughout the Rio Grande Valley. He works closely with federal, state and local stakeholders in the community.
Prior to joining DHR Health, Simon worked as a Legislative Intern for Congressman Ruben Hinojosa, and then as a Congressional District Staffer, handling local constituent issues such as: Health Care, Education and Financial Literacy.
Simon graduated from the University of the Incarnate Word with his B.A. in Government and International Affairs and is currently pursuing a Masters of Public Administration from the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley.
When he’s not working or studying, Simon enjoys spending time outdoors with family and friends.
